During covid I started experimenting with polymer clay earrings. At first it was just something casual, but I grew more and more passionate about it and decided to turn it into an Etsy business. I did not expect much to come out of it, but by the time I headed to college in 2022 I had over 1500 sales and over 400 5-star reviews. Etsy had labeled 4 of my products as “Bestsellers,” and I had even been selected as a seller at a Juried Art Show, the Milford Art Affaire. Despite bumps in the road, running this business taught me lessons I will never forget about interacting with consumers, quality control, time management, professionalism, and design in general.
