Puffs Tissues: Winter Box Designs 2025

During my co-op at Procter & Gamble, I designed Puffs tissue box collections for the 2025 winter season. After rounds of research, leadership presentations, and consumer testing, my final collection was sold into major national retailers such as Walmart, Target, and Kroger, where it was available for a limited time.

While Puffs boxes traditionally lean more minimal, my goal was to consider bolder festive designs that people would be excited to see in their homes during the holiday season. The target audience centered around younger Gen Xers and Millennial moms.

The Business Challenge

I began by researching trends for winter 2025 across categories such as color, print and pattern, fashion, product design, and home design. This research turned into 10 different trending aesthetic spaces, and from there I created 10 unique mood boards in order for the team to narrow to an aesthetic direction.

Trends Research

Final 3 Trend Spaces

Keeping the chosen trend spaces in mind, I looked through pattern libraries of 4 different print and pattern vendors and purchased 3 patterns total.

Pattern Purchasing

Taking elements from the purchased patterns as well as designing elements myself, I began to create design collections based around the 3 trend spaces.

4. Funky Festive

The selected designs are from multiple trend spaces, but the colors were harmonized before printing to fully reflect Dark Glamour as that color palette tested the best.
